So much of our lives are full YANG masculine energy, which is strong, outward energy. We are constantly on the move, trying to accomplish everything on our to-do lists without stopping to balance it out with some gentle stretching. This yoga class is the perfect practice for balancing yin feminine energy with yang masculine energy.
We begin this class with a centering exercise to help bring us to the present moment, which is SO important when balancing energy. Then we move into some fire-building yoga exercises that target the core, abs, hamstrings, and glutes. Once the muscles are warm, we move into gentle yin postures that stretch our hips, hamstrings, back, and neck. By the end of the class, you’ll be feeling strong and centered 🙏
